Tannic acid

Alternate name:Tannin, Gallotannic acid

Description: A yellowish to brownish powder, odor characteristic, taste strongly astringent. Soluble in 1 part of water or alcohol, and soluble in acetone, almost insoluble in chloroform or ether.

Specification: Meeting the requirement of state standard GB5038-85

Uses: This product is widely used in smelting of germanium manufacture of  "tannic iron ink ", metal corrosion resistance, slime treatment of petroleum drilling and raw material of pharmaceutical industry.

Packing and storage: in woven plastic bags; should be kept in a well-closed container.
