Description: It is lemon yellow crystal or powder with briny taste. It is soluble in water, and is not soluble in ethanol, ether, methyl acetate and liquid ammonia. Its density is 1.882 ~ 1.889. It loses water in crystal if heated up to 70 ºC and produces white dehydrating compound when heated up to 100 ºC . Giving off N2 when burning and produces potassium cyanide. Its solution will decompose to ferric hydrate when meeting light.
