Description:
•Paraffine chloride is the general name for chloride derivants whose chlorine content is 13-74% and which is made from paraffin whose carbon atom number ranges from C0 to C30 by chloriding. Paraffine chloride is widely used as PVC auxiliary plasticizer, antiextrusion and antiwear agent of lube oil, and addictive fire retardant in chemical industry, oil refining, textile, mining, transportation, architecture, mechanical engineering, and so on.
•This product is made from RCL-42 by highly chlorizing.
Physical and Chemical Properties: This product is white powder. It has good chemical stability and does not react to oxidant and dilute alkali under normal temperature. It is odorless, poisonousless, insoluble in water and in many organic solvents, and insoluble in lower alcohol such as ethanol.
Uses: This product has good chemical stability, compatibility and excellent cooperative effect with fire retardant of phosphor and antimonous oxide. It is widely used as fire retardant for all kinds of products, such as rubber, plastics, wires and cables, as the fire-proof democratic materials, anti-electrostatics, paints, and so on. It can also be applied in printing ink and wood treatment.
