The products, using high quality wood and special sawdust as raw materials and high temperature steam and chemical as catalyst, are made to powdered activated carbon by charring, activating and fine after-treatment procedures. They are characterized by large specific area, strong adsorptive power and effective filtering.
They are mainly used in decoloring chemical raw material and semi-finished medicine, treating water, vinic deodorizing, and organic or dyed waste water treatment. Also they have good effects in preparation of chemical dye printing paste and decolorization of colloidal medium. Especially, the strong decoloring carbon can be used in decoloring and purifying precious metals.
